Ammonia, bleach, and peroxide -free formula is safe and easy, allowing you to start over/re-color your hair right away. Color Reverse gently and effectively reverses the last oxidative color process (color mixed with developer), so you can give it another go.
It’s imperative that you follow directions when using Color Reverse. While the application of the product remains on the hair for 20 minutes, it requires multiple shampoos and rinsing for long intervals to be the most effective.
To begin, mix well in a non-metallic bowl for 30 seconds. Wearing gloves, apply liberally and evenly to clean and dry hair to avoid patches, focusing on color to be removed. For optimal results, apply quickly, avoiding cold rooms or processing near cool vents or fans. Warmth helps the product fully process.
With shampoo and warm water, rinse for 20 minutes. Shampoo again, then rinse for at least five additional minutes. The longer you continue to rinse, the better your end results will be. If the product is not fully rinsed out, color molecules remain in the hair, which can cause it to revert back to the unwanted color.
Condition the hair after application or use a hair mask to rehydrate the hair and help eliminate any lingering product scent.
