12 Minute Deep Treatment Intensive Conditioner feeds and strengthens curls with a combination of essential amino acids, proteins, and effective moisturizers. What it does: It is the foundation for restoring and maintaining your hair's health and beauty. Due to a curl's tendency to lose nutrients and moisture, frequent deep conditioning is necessary to replenish the hair strength, allowing each strand to regain its internal weight and body and minimize the tendency to frizz.
What else you need to know: Used with heat, the mix of proteins and Amino Acids effectively penetrates hair to bond with the cuticle, leaving hair revived and restructured for enhanced performance. Essential for re-building over-processed or dried-out curls.
1. Start with a clean slate: shampoo your hair first.
2. Next, apply Deep Treatment evenly to clean, damp hair. Use approximately 2 oz. for shoulder length hair, a bit more for longer hair.
3. Cover your hair with a heat-proof cap and apply heat using a hooded dryer or blow dryer for 12 minutes.
4. This last step is important: Rinse out Deep Treatment, and apply a moisturizing conditioner to hair to seal in the treatment. Rinse and style. Use Deep Treatment 1-2 times per month.
